Cattery Finder is for anyone looking for a place for their cat to stay whilst they're on holiday. Our location based searching means that you can quickly find catteries in your area and view their profiles and photos before contacting them.
It's also a great method for cattery owners to reach local cat owners.

How do I use Cattery Finder?
It's easy to find a cattery near to you. Simply go to the Find A Cattery page and then enter your location in the search box. You can enter any town, place or even a postcode. Then, click the Find Catteries button, and the site will display all of the catteries in your local area, showing you the closest first.
We display all of your results on a map too, so you can see exactly where they are in relation to you. You can then click on a cattery to view their profile page. This contains lots of useful info such as prices, contact details, facilities and photos of the cattery.

How do I advertise on Cattery Finder?
Cattery owners can sign up for an annual membership to Cattery Finder which gives them their own profile page on the site. Just click on Add Your Cattery in the main navigation bar and then follow the instructions. Once you've signed up, you'll be able to edit your profile and get listed on the website.

How much does it cost to advertise?
A year's membership to Cattery Finder costs £75 including VAT.

How do I pay for my membership?
We currently use PayPal to take payment for memberships. This allows you to pay with Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, American Express, Solo, or a regular PayPal account.

Can I pay by cheque or invoice?
No. At the moment, we only accept online payments via PayPal. We will email you a receipt after payment though.

What happens when my membership expires?
When your 12 month membership expires, we will automatically charge you for another 12 months using PayPal unless you cancel. We will email you 2 weeks before this date in order to remind you should you wish to cancel.

How do I cancel my membership?
Should you wish to cancel your membership at any time, you need to send us a message via our contact form informing us of this. We will then stop any further payments from being taken. We will also remove your cattery profile from the website once your current membership period ends.

I've just signed up for a membership, but my cattery profile isn't showing up on the website. Why not?
Before a new profile is added to the site it needs to be checked over and reviewed by us. Please allow up to 2 working days for this process, although we try to review all new profiles within 24 hours.

I'm having trouble uploading pictures to my profile. What format should they be in?
All photos to be uploaded to the site should be in JPEG format and less than 2 megabytes in size. You don't need to worry about the dimensions of the photo as the site will automatically resize them so that they fit in your profile page for you.

How is Cattery Finder promoted?
Whilst building Cattery Finder, we have spent a long time ensuring that the site is optimised for the major search engines such as Google so that it will appear in their search results. As well as optimising the main pages of the site, each of our member profile pages are automitically optmised too. This means that as well as appearing in the Cattery Finder site results, your profile page may also appear in the Google results too. Due to the way in which Google operates however, we make no guarantees that this will happen.
